Confirmco's Ethical Standards
As a Confirmco Member, you agree to the following:
1. Your company will conduct its business honestly and ethically wherever you operate in the world. You will constantly work to improve the quality of your services, products and operations and will create a reputation for honesty, fairness, respect, responsibility, integrity, trust and sound business judgment. No illegal or unethical conduct on the part of officers, directors, employees or affiliates is in the company’s best interest, and you agree to report such conduct to Confirmco immediately.
2. Your company will not compromise its principles for short-term advantage. The ethical performance of your company is the sum of the ethics of the men and women who work for you. Thus, all officers, directors, and employees are all expected to adhere to high standards of personal integrity.
3. All officers, directors and employees of your company shall abide by all state and/or federal laws regarding the operation of your business.
4. All officers, directors, and employees of your company must never permit their personal interests to conflict, or appear to conflict, with the interests of the company, its clients or affiliates.
5. No bribes, kickbacks or other similar remuneration or consideration shall be given to any person or organization in order to attract or influence business activity.
6. To safeguard any and all personal information provided by any customer, client, or prospective customer or client within the bounds of any and all state and/or federal regulations.
7. All officers, directors and employees of your company will seek to report all information accurately and honestly, and as otherwise required by Confirmco.
8. All officers, directors and employees of your company shall make accurate claims to your customers, use only competent testimonials, and strive to be open about all aspects of the products or services you offer. Your company will abide by all state and/or federal laws governing advertisements.
9. All officers, directors and employees of your company will seek to avoid exaggerating or disparaging comparisons of the services and competence of their competitors.
10. All officers, directors and employees of your company will obey all Equal Employment Opportunity laws and act with respect and responsibility towards others in all of their dealings.
11. All officers, directors and employees of your company agree to disclose unethical, dishonest, fraudulent and illegal behavior, or the violation of company policies and procedures, directly to management.
12. Violation of these standards may result in discipline, including possible revocation of your membership. The degree of discipline relates in part to whether there was a voluntary disclosure of any ethical violation and whether or not the violator cooperated in any subsequent investigation.
